In Oberammergau enjoy the once-in-a-decade Passion Play performance. The play is from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm and includes a 3-hour intermission for dinner. The play portrays the Passion of Christ—from his entry into Jerusalem to the Resurrection. The play usually consists of 2,000 actors, singers, musicians, and technicians—all of which are residents of Oberammergau. Please note, the play is conducted in German with booklets provided in other languages.
